Central European Journal of Physics goes Open Access
De Gruyter Open (www.degruyteropen.com) announces that Central European Journal of Physics (CEJP) (www.openphysics.com) is now becoming open access, which means freely available to everyone, anywhere in the world. In order to emphasize this change, CEJP has changed its name to Open Physics. This move guarantees the widest possible readership to the authors, so we are confident that Open Physics should further grow and increase its Impact Factor.
In the past 12 years of successful publication of this journal, quality of published research has always been our priority, and I confirm that Open Physics will maintain its practice of detailed and critical peer-review, as well as its extensive editorial involvement throughout the publication process.
Publication of a peer-reviewed and open access journal is not without costs. These expenses will be covered by Article Processing Charges, which are paid by the author’s funder, sponsor or affiliated institution (for details see http://degruyteropen.com/you/author/fundingforauthors). Manuscripts accepted for publication in Open Physics will be subject to Article Processing Charges of 1000 EUR. However, it is important to remember that authors from countries where no such funding schemes are in place will be given the opportunity to apply for waivers (www.degruyter.com/view/supplement/s23915471_Article_Processing_Charges.pdf).
